Solutions — Research Institutions
We are looking for research partners, not just test facilities. If you work on slurry characterization, acoustic measurement, or mineral processing instrumentation — this is a genuinely open research problem.
NuMetrik Platform
For research institutions, NuMetrik's active collaboration need is in Process Intelligence — validating measurement parameters for mineral processing conditions. Connectivity and Certainty represent downstream applications where validated measurement data creates further research opportunity.
Three Collaboration Models
Work with NuMetrik and our technology partner to validate the system's roadmap parameters in a controlled mineral processing environment. These are genuine open measurement problems. The work produces publishable results.
Access to the measurement system measurement hardware for your own research programs. If your institution has slurry measurement research programs that would benefit from a high-accuracy, non-intrusive ultrasonic platform — we want to have that conversation.
NuMetrik is actively pursuing and open to joint applications for applicable Federal and Provincial programs. A research institution co-applicant strengthens grant eligibility for several of these programs.
Value to Your Institution
Non-intrusive real-time slurry characterization is an emerging field. The institution that produces the foundational validation data for the measurement system-class technology in mineral processing will have a durable research profile in this space.
The roadmap parameters are genuine open problems — not routine certification testing. The experimental work to validate acoustic-based density measurement, gas void fraction detection, and PSD characterization in mineral processing slurries is publishable at peer-reviewed level.
the measurement system validation testing uses your pilot plant infrastructure and expands your institution's measurement technology expertise — directly serving your member and client base who operate slurry processing circuits.
Federal and Provincial programs support exactly this type of industry-research collaboration. A research institution co-applicant is a program requirement for some and a significant advantage for others.
