Your Challenges
Slurry is abrasive, corrosive, and erosive. Intrusive probes — Coriolis meters, magnetic flowmeters with electrode fouling, nuclear gauges — all compromise in slurry service. the measurement system is non-intrusive: nothing touches the process fluid. Accuracy doesn't degrade with wear because there's nothing to wear.
Installing conventional instrumentation on a live slurry pipeline means isolation, flushing, and modification. the measurement system clamps to the outside of the existing pipe. Installation is measured in hours. The circuit keeps running throughout.
Hourly or shift-based lab grabs give you a point-in-time snapshot that's already out of date. the measurement system streams continuous measurement to your DCS — you see the process as it is right now, not as it was two hours ago.
Intrusive instruments in slurry service need frequent calibration, replacement, and downtime. the measurement system has no wetted parts — nothing to replace, nothing to re-calibrate in service, no scheduled shutdown to access the probe.
