Solutions — Plant Operators & Process Engineers

If you work in mineral processing, you know what blind measurement costs.

NuMetrik's process intelligence solutions give you continuous, real-time process data — without intrusive probes, without process shutdown.

NuMetrik Platform

Process Intelligence Connectivity Certainty

For plant operators, the most immediately relevant capability is Process Intelligence — specifically the flow characterization solution currently in active pilot. Connectivity and Certainty complement it: Connectivity provides industrial-grade OT network infrastructure to move measurement data reliably from sensor to control room and historian; Certainty applies sensor fusion and process data reconciliation to turn conflicting measurement inputs into one reconciled value with a defined confidence interval — supporting process control decisions, compliance reporting, and digital twin calibration.

Your Challenges

Common problems the Flow Characterisation System addresses

Measurement accuracy and reliability in slurry conditions

Slurry is abrasive, corrosive, and erosive. Intrusive probes — Coriolis meters, magnetic flowmeters with electrode fouling, nuclear gauges — all compromise in slurry service. the measurement system is non-intrusive: nothing touches the process fluid. Accuracy doesn't degrade with wear because there's nothing to wear.

Non-intrusive installation — no shutdown, no pipe cutting, no process interruption

Installing conventional instrumentation on a live slurry pipeline means isolation, flushing, and modification. the measurement system clamps to the outside of the existing pipe. Installation is measured in hours. The circuit keeps running throughout.

Real-time continuous data vs. lab sample delays

Hourly or shift-based lab grabs give you a point-in-time snapshot that's already out of date. the measurement system streams continuous measurement to your DCS — you see the process as it is right now, not as it was two hours ago.

Reducing maintenance burden on existing instrumentation

Intrusive instruments in slurry service need frequent calibration, replacement, and downtime. the measurement system has no wetted parts — nothing to replace, nothing to re-calibrate in service, no scheduled shutdown to access the probe.

What You Can Measure

Flow Velocity & Volumetric Flow Rate

Continuous, real-time. Replaces periodic flow measurement with a live process variable in your DCS. NIST-traceable accuracy.

Deploy Ready

Pipe Wall Thickness & Liner Wear

Continuous wall thickness monitoring — detect liner thinning before it becomes a failure event. No process shutdown required to inspect.

Gas void fraction, slurry density, particle size distribution, rheological properties, and cavitation prediction are on the active R&D roadmap. See full parameter status →
