Company
NuMetrik brings together mining domain expertise, measurement science, and industrial technology — through a leadership team and partner ecosystem built to execute.
Leadership
Alex brings 25+ years leading the development and commercialization of complex sensor and analytical instrumentation systems — from life science precision to industrial, aerospace, and defense. His career includes roles at MDA Space Missions, Sciex, Smiths Detection, and Blutip Power Technologies.
NuMetrik was founded from a disciplined process of identifying where proven technology from one domain creates significant untapped value in another — recognizing that sensing and process intelligence technologies, already validated in adjacent mission-critical industries, could transform how operational decisions are made in natural resources processing.
Alex holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Technion — Israel Institute of Technology, and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
NuMetrik is just getting started. As the platform matures and the team grows, this page will reflect the people building it.
Partner Ecosystem
NuMetrik brings mining domain expertise and market access. Our partners bring proven technology. Together we're building something none of us could reach alone.
Developer and manufacturer of the ultrasonic measurement platform at the core of NuMetrik's Process Intelligence solution. The technology has been validated in nuclear power generation environments — establishing a proof base that NuMetrik is extending into mineral processing. The partner provides hardware, calibration methodology, and a nuclear-industry validation record.
Marvell-based industrial Ethernet switches running Hardened SONiC NOS. In the NuMetrik ecosystem, Larch is the connectivity layer (Pillar II) — moving measurement data from the sensor edge through plant aggregation to the cloud historian, with native PTP time sync, PoE++ sensor power, and OT-grade cybersecurity. Marvell-certified since 2011; SONiC Foundation member since 2018.
Sensor fusion and process data reconciliation. The Certainty layer takes multiple measurement streams — from the flow characterization system and other instruments in the circuit — and produces a single reconciled value with a defined confidence interval. Essential for control-grade and ESG-grade reporting where conflicting measurement inputs must resolve to one trusted number.
